Band 9: During a recent plane journey, you sat next to a businessman who owns a chain of restaurants. You talked to him and he suggested that you should contact him about a possible job in one of his restaurants. Write a letter to this businessman. In your letter remind him when and where you met tell him what kind of job you are interested in say why you think you would be suitable for the job

Dear Sir,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my interest in the chef position at one of your restaurants in Mississauga.

You may not remember me, so allow me to remind you. Two weeks ago, during my flight with Air France from Mumbai to Toronto, I was seated next to you. You complimented me on the turban I was wearing, and as we continued our conversation, you shared details about your chain of restaurants in Ontario. I mentioned that I had been out of work for six months and was seeking a chef position. You suggested that I contact you about a potential role in one of your restaurants.

That’s why I decided to reach out. To start, I am open to any kitchen-related position and, after gaining experience, I would love to work toward becoming a chef.
