This pie charts shows how energy is used in an average Australian household and the greenhouse gas emission which result from this energy use.
The chart show that most part of energy used to heating and water heating. The smallest water use was spent on cooling. Also most part of gas emissions was from water heating.
In Australian households the biggest proportion of energy was spent on heating, which represented 42% , while in green house emission it amounted 15%. Next biggest water use was spent on water heating, which represented 30% of from all , meanwhile in greenhouse gas emission it amounted 32%. On the other appliances Australian households used 15% of energy, while in greenhouse gas emission it represented 28%. On regrigeration was spent 7% of energy. In greenhouse gas emission this figure was doubled and amounted 14%. Australian households used 4% of energy to lighting , meanwhile waste from lighting was 8%.The smallest percent of energy use was spent on cooling, it was 2%. Greenhouse gas emission amounted 3%.
