Dear Mr Johnson,

I am writing this letter to express my interest in extending our agreement regarding renting your lovely apartment.

To begin with, I would like to inform you that I am willing to stay here for the upcoming two months up to March instead of changing my location.

Fortunately, the company that I am working for would like to renew my contract. Thus, I have to be at your flat up to the end of my commitment. Also, it would be a great idea if we could meet each other in this matter.

I am willing to ask you to fix some problems at home. In other words, it is vital to maintain these issues, such as a leaking tube in the kitchen, which is wasting water. Additionally, the heating system is not working properly. So, it would not be suitable in cold weather. I wish you could consider these items for more convenient.

I am eagerly looking forward to hearing your response.
