Dear Mr. Smith,

I am one of your tenants from apartment number 13, building C, Hall Street, and I am writing to discuss the possibility of extending my rental agreement. Moreover, I want to complain about an issue that has raised in the apartment and need your attention.

Initially, I have been renting this apartment for six months, and I would like to extend my stay. I would like to request an extension of the lease for an additional one year.

This is because my circumstances have changed as my work project here has been extended, and I have found that I like the neighborhood.

Although I have enjoyed with my stay, there is a minor problem that I was encountering recently. The kitchen sink has been leaking for the past few weeks and the leak in the damaged area can cause serious consequences.
