Dear Mr. Smith,

I am writing to request you regarding the extension of my stay in your beautiful apartment for another six months and a repair issue.

Please note that, I have rented the apartment on a six months agreement basis, in which I already stayed for five months. As my study need additional six months to be completed, I need to stay at this city during the period.

Unfortunately, two months ago, I had a sudden heart attack. Now, with the bless of almighty I am recovering day by day. Buty, because of health issue, I am facing severe hurdles to complete the project, which is supposed to be completed in this month. As a consequence, I need one semester more to develop the project.

However, please be informed that one window at living room is faulty, for which in Winter cold air is passing from out side. Please take the initiative to fix the window earlier than the comming Winter.

You know that I am paying the rent regularly and maintaining a clean and modest environment in your apartment. I believe, considering my current situation you will extension the agreement for another six months.
