Dear ABC,

I am writing this letter to make a request for an extension of my rental agreement, as I want to stay longer than six months from the date of the agreement. I am fine with the terms and conditions.

I want to stay for an additional 70 days, as my shift plans have been changed. This is because I have not yet looked for a new rental home. Additionally, it is very difficult to find a new home near my workplace. Therefore, I need some additional time to figure out when I will find a rental home.

As I live alone, there are not many problems in the current apartment. I have a friend who is staying far away from his office. We are planning together to move into a new place, and it will take some time.

Kindly let me know if there is anything I need to pay additionally for the rent. I would be most grateful if you could extend the agreement for two or three months. As our request is urgent, a quick answer would be appreciated.
