Given diagram displays the process of using geothermal energy to produce electricity.
Overall, the diagram illustrates the steps involved in production of electric energy using cold water by geothermal energy. This process involves five steps.
In the first step, cold water is pumped into to the ground, through the injection well. This water now flows from the geothermal zone with hot rocks which makes this cold water, hot. After this, this water is pumped up from the production well. This brings the water in to the condenser. Here, the water is converted into the steam which creates the pressure and rotates the turbine located in the connected room with condenser. Lastly, this rotating turbine powers the generator and generator produce the electricity which is transmitted to the electricity pole and it spreads further. This is how the geothermal energy is used to convert water into the steam to generate electricity.
