The bar chart illustrates the transport preferences of young people in four countries, namely the UK, the United States, France and Italy, during a particular year.
Overall, cars were the most popular means of transport in most countries, especially in Italy. By contrast, bicycles were preferred more in France than in the other nations.
In the UK and the United States, the percentage of young people who preferred cars was same at 60%. However, motorcycle usage in the United States was significantly higher, at 30%, compared to in the UK only 10% in the UK. In contrast, bicycles were much more popular in the UK, for 30%, while only 10% of young Americans chose this transportation
France showed different usage than the others. Bicycle use was the highest there at approximately 45%.In addition, cars were slightly down about 40 percentage. Meanwhile, motorcycles were the least preferred option at around 12%.
Italy recorded the highest proportion of car users among all four countries, slightly higher than 70 %. Both motorcycles and bicycles were less popular 8 and 12 percentage.
