The graphics illustrate the information about the number of deaths and cases of flu for different groups (male and female) and the percentage of the new vaccine distribution among various female recipient groups in June 1996 in a big city.
It is noticeable that the number of dead people and flu cases was dominated by females. Meanwhile, aged females witnessed the largest proportion of recipients.
Regarding the deaths, from March to June, the number of females who died accounted for 1, while that of males was none. From June to August, females and males experienced an increase; the former was a four-fold incline to 4 and the latter rose from 0rise to 2.
Looking at the female recipients of the new vaccine, the percentage of females aged (over 65 years old) was the largest, recorded at 35%. In addition, babies or children girls and nonrecipient females have a similar percentage, with 28% and 24%, respectively. Moreover, hospitalised patients represented the smallest proportion at 13%.
Turning to the number of cases, in February, both females and males had no cases. Both trends showed a growth, with the number of females increasing to below 2.500 cases and that of males growing to 1.500 cases in December. Furthermore, there were marked fluctuations, with females reaching a peak position at 3.500, higher than males at about 2.700, in June.
