Regrettably, upon disembarking from the aircraft, I inadvertently left behind a bag in the overhead compartment. It was only upon reaching my hotel that I realized my oversight.

The bag, a medium-sized black carry-on adorned with a distinctive red luggage tag, contains essential items such as my passport, wallet, keys, and cherished mementos including photographs and souvenirs.

I humbly implore your assistance in locating my misplaced bag. Could you please conduct a thorough search through your lost and found department and notify me promptly if it is recovered? Additionally, I would be immensely grateful if arrangements could be made for the safe return of my belongings.
