The chart illustrates the percentage of working patterns of mothers with young children in the Great Britain. Noticeably, Mothers with young children from 0-2 years are almostly not woking. While, Mothers with young children 5-9 years are working part-time approximately in half.
According to the chart, it is clear that mothers with children 0-2 and 3-4 years had most not working with 70% and 54% respectively. In addition, working part-time mothers with children 0-2 had approximately double figures than working full-time at 19% and 11%. While, mothers with children 3-4 had stable working full-time at 11% but increased quite big in working part-time at 35%
For children from 5-9 and more than 10 years, almost mothers choose working part-time with 48% and 45% respectively. In addition, the figures mothers working full-time increased sharply to 29% at 10 years old than children 5-9 at 14%. While, the percentage of mothers not working was 38% and 26% respectively.
