Dear Mrs Barrett,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my interest in your advertisement for someone to help in your home for a few hours a day next summer.

I would be happy to assist you with a variety of household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, dishwashing, and organizing. I am particularly skilled at cooking different cuisines, especially Indian and Mexican dishes. In addition, I have six months’ experience working as a personal support worker in a household in my neighbourhood, which has helped me develop strong skills in maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable home environment.

I am interested in this position because I am currently pursuing a Personal Support Worker (PSW) course. As part of my course requirements, I need to gain practical experience working in a home setting, and I believe this role would be an excellent opportunity to further develop my skills while providing reliable assistance to you.

Regarding my availability, I am free on all weekdays except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as I attend classes on those days. I may also be available on some weekends, which we could discuss further during an interview.
