Dear Mrs Barrett,

I am writing this letter in response to your advertisement for house help you need at your home over the summer.

I can help you with the everyday chores especially cooking. As I have worked in an English cafe for about 6 months, I have extensive culinary experience of the English cuisine, and I will be happy to cook delicious, finger-licking food for you. I can also dish up Italian and Mexican delicacies if you would like to have them.

Cooking is a hobby of mine and I’ve done learnt to cook various cuisines from various well-known culinary schools over the years. I really enjoy cooking, and doing it for you will also help me refine my skills. At the same time, the extra money that I will get will help me in paying for my summer course that I intend to enrol in.

During the summers, I will be studying at the summer school, the classes for which are scheduled on the weekends, therefore I will be unavailable on Saturdays and Sundays. I will however, be free during the weekdays, from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm in the late afternoon.
