Dear Mrs Barrett,
I am writing this letter to provide you with my assistance in doing your household chores. Recently, I came across the article in our local newspaper “The Life in a Small Town”, where it was written that you would like to find a volunteer.
I would like to point out that I can do any kind of housework, like dusting surfaces and sweeping the floor, cleaning the ceiling and doing the laundry. I also can fix broken furniture or assemble new one. Additionally, I enjoy maintaining gardens, so trimming grass or bushes, as well as seeding and watering flowers have always been my passion.
I used to spend my summer holidays with my grandmother helping her take care of her large cottage, so I believe that it was she who encouraged me to maintain cleanliness in the place where I live. Besides this, I feel compelled to help people who are in need with their household chores.
As I am planning to work remotely next summer, I will be available at any time from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., except Friday. On Friday, I spend the whole day with my sister’s child. You can phone me when you need my help, and I will come to your place.
I hope you will find my offer appealing so that I can be helpful to you. I look forward to your response.
Yours sincerely,
Viktoria Musik
