The line graph illustrates the changes in figures of X illness cases in Someland over the period from 1983 to 1992.

Overall, at the beginning of the period, the numbers of recorded cases experienced fluctuations. Moreover, approximately in the middle of the period, the significant growth is evident. However, in the end, it is noticed that figures decreased dramatically, and eventually the disease disappeared.

Between 1983 and 1988, numbers of people who had that disease underwent some ups and downs. From 1983 to 1984 the figure remained steady at 100 cases. Still, from the middle of 1984 the number increased considerably to 200 cases in 1987. Nonetheless, by 1988 there was a marginal decline in the number by 100 cases.

From 1988 to 1989 the figure hit a high of 400 people, suffering from that illness. After that it decreased slightly to 350 and remained stable by 1991. In the last year the figure dropped rapidly, and eventually that disease disappeared in 1992.
