Dear Sir/Madam,

I’m writing with regard to my travel insurance policy no ****** and would like to explain about a lost item during my recent trip on 11 Sep 2024.

Kindly note that I have lost my DSLR camera which is the latest D600 model with a camouflage cover. The camera body was in a carrier bag along with other accessories like 2 extra batteries a tripod and 150mm 200mm lens which could be used for wildlife photography.

My trip was from Canada to Sri Lanka and when I boarded the flight from Canada, I had the camera with me and used it for some photos inside the airport too. Once I landed in Japan, I used it to take a few photos inside the airport as well. I clearly remember putting the carrier bag into the upper shared compartment in the aircraft which belongs to my seat 37D and another. Unfortunately I assume the carrier bag had got entangled in my neighboring passengers hand luggage and was taken away when we arrived in Sri Lanka.

I kindly request a claim in full for the device and accessories lost so that I could purchase another for my photography work.
