The four pie charts illustrate the proportion of men and women working different numbers of hours per week in the government and private sector.
Overall, the largest share of women who work between 6 and 12 hours per week, according to both segments, mean while the highest part of men serving over 46 hours. It is also noticeable that females are more likely to work less than males, who are generally inclined to do a job much longer.
Looking first at the government sector, 30% of guys did over 46 hours, making it the widest category. This followed by working 1-2 hours and 6-12 hours, accounted for the same percent, 23%. By comparison, only 9% of men worked for 13-30 hours. Among women, the largest proportion, acted about 6-12 hours, 35%. The share for working 13-30 hours was slightly lower, at 13%, while 31-45 hours doing 20%. Finally, smallest categories comprised just 19%, worked 1-2 hours, and 4% doing a job over 46 hours.
Turning to the private sector, the highest share of men acting over 46 hours, 34%. Almost similar parameters doing 31-45 hours with 20%, 13-30 hours with 21%, and 6-12 hours with x%.Only 5% working for 1-2 hours. The pattern for women was different. Most of them acting between 6 and 12 hours, 35%, like they do in the government sector. This followed by alike shares, 1-2 hours with 21% and 31-45 hours similarly 13-30 hours, 20% each. Finally, the same parameter, as in the government sector, has working over 46 hours, 4%.
