Overall, the number of women aged between 15-64 in the employment rate increased almost in all countries, with the exception of Iceland which was the highest percentage showing a slight decrease at the end of the period. Meanwhile, Canada and Turkey remained relatively stable, with the letter which was the lowest at the beginning remained its position.
In 2003, Iceland, Canada, Germany showed the highest percentages of women aged 15-64 in employment compared to other countries. Iceland was the highest country with 80%, followed by Canada with 70%, and finally Germany with 60%. Meanwhile, Chile and Turkey showed much lower percentage of employment with 35% and the letter with 25%, which was the lowest over the period.
In 2007,Germany showed a slight increase and continued to grow, reaching 69% and its peak in 2009. For instance, Chile showed a noticeable increase to 40% until 2009. Meanwhile, Iceland had remained stable until 2007 and then showed a noticeable decrease to 75% till 2009. Canada was the only country which stayed unchanged over the period.
