The column chart illustrates the proportion of different age groups of children participating in four types of activities from Australia in the year 2012. It can be observed that watching TV is highly preffered choice amongst the children from all age groups.
The young adults of in between 12 to 16 years og age were involved highly in all the four activities execpt in art which was about a half of the total proportion. Children from age group 9 to 11 years showed slight fluctuation, in being active in all the exercises, in which they largely spent most of their time in wtching TV, which is nearly 90%.
Whereas, the youths from age group of 5 to 8 years were found to be actively busy in riding the bike and spending time in television. Children of age 5 to 8 years majorly in driving vehicle, which is almost 78% , are considerably much higher than those in reading, which is just over 60%.
Overall, it can be inferred that all age groups taking part in art were least in proportion compared to other sectors.
