The chart gives information about some ten countries who consumed and produced the most electricity in the year 2014.
Overall, it can be observed that the ten countries (China, United States, Russia, Japan, India, Canada, France, Brazil, Germany and Korea) are presented rank wise for their electricity consumption and production where China exists on top and Korea at the bottom. Amongst all, Germany had the more consumption over production.
China has the highest electricity production and consumption of 5,398 billion kWh and 5,322 billion kWh, respectively. It is followed by the United States who has consumed 3,866 billion kWh and produced 4,099 billion kWh. Russia consumed 1057 billion kWh of electricity, while it has the usage of 1036 billion kWh. Additionally, Japan, India, Canada, France, Korea and Brazil had average production which range from almost 486 to 940 billion kWh. Their consumption is approximately between 450 to 860 billion kWh.
Amongst all, Germany had the more consumption over production with usage of 582.5 billion kWh and production of 526.6 billion kWh.
