The flowchart illustrates the process of growing and production matcha tea. Overall, it can be clearly seen that, the process consist of several stages, beginning with the growing tea plants in shaded fields and finally, the goods are packed and distributed to customers.
To begin with, tea plants are grown in shaded fields, after that, the youngest leaves are manually harvested then the leaves are steamed,to prepare leaves for further processing.
Next stage is drying leaves and removal of stems and veins, after that, dry leaves are ground in granite mills ,turning them into thin green powder which is called matcha. Finally, matcha powder ready to packed and distributed.
Thus, the matcha production process consist of six main steps, cultivating, harvesting, streaming, drying, grinding, and packaging. Each step is important for obtaining a high-quality final product.
