The given table shows the past year result of cultural activities participation survey passed for adults aged over 16 in Scotland, introduced percentage wise.
At first glance, it is clear that the group of people aged 16 to 24 introduced the dominating figures in most catigories. Moreover, “any performance” events were the most attended for almost every age group, while “computer based” line showcases the opposite trend.
To begin with the yongest and the most dominant team aged 16 to 24, it can be seen that any performance and visual arts showed the highest percentage for this group, 35% and 30 % respectively. Unlike the computer based activities, cultural purchases and undertaking any crafts were the less interested 10%, 11% and 11% correspondingly. Conversely, for all aged 16 and over the highest points were for any performances at 22% and 19%, and the lowest for computer based at 6% and writing at 7%.
For other peolpe aged between 25 to 74, the decreasing figures can be observed while aging. However, the older generation aged 45 to 74 has the opposite tendention for crafts and cultural purchases , representing 22% and 18% , while aged 25 to 44 showed only 17% and 17%there. In contrast, the lowest percentage can be noticed for writing and computer based 6% and 9% for 25 to 45 and 5% and 5% for over 45, respectively.
