The table gives information about six cities’ underground systems, listing “Lines”, “Total lenght”, “Annual Journeys” and “Cost of single ticket”.

The longest underground is situated in New York, that is far more longer than London Tube. In fact, New York underground system is the most complex with a total of 24 lines. Moreover, the New York City Subway is also cheaper compared with London Tube. In fact, it costs more than 4$ less. In addition, the New York City Subway brings more annual journeys. Otherwise, the Tokyo Subway is the most common subway among all these underground systems and it is one of the most economic in the list, third to Mexico City Metro and Beijing Subway.

The most economic underground system is the one situated in Mexico, that with 12 lines, every year completes 1.6 billion annual journeys.

The most both economic and complex subway is actually the Beijing Subway. In fact, this subway, compared with New York City Subway, is second in number of lines, but it brings far more people than the New York one. Actually, after the Beijing Subway only the Tokyo Subway may have more than 3 billion annual journeys.
