As an overall trend, it can be clearly seen that most of the sectors decreased, whereas the service industry and the household use experienced a growth.
Starting with the increased sectors, the service industry began with 13% in 1997. During the next 10 years it almost doubled and accounted for 25%. In comparison, the household use experienced a slight increasement from 19% to 21% in 1997 and 2002, respectively.
On the contrary, the food industry, the manufacturing and the building industry decreased. However, declines were slight. To begin with the food industry, which was the most significant proportion, amounted to 48% in 1997. Experiencing a fall to 41% in 2007, it remained the peak. In addition, it is important to mention building industry, which was the most minor percentage during the whole period. It started with 5%, then slightly dropped and amounted to 2%, in 1997 and 2007, respectively.
