Overall, both the countries had an upward trend in the starting. However, India maintained the growth and consistently rises while China declined over the time period.
To commence with, in 2000 India’s population was about 1billion whereas population in China was about 1.2 billion. Continuously, the rate increases with the passage of years in both the nations. Indian population touched 1.1 billion in 2005 while 1.3 billion in China. Moreover, until 2020 the number of Indian citizens consistently increases by 0.2 percent. In contrast, China’s population had a slight increase that came to be equal in number in 2030 roughly about 1.45 billion.
