The data illustrates that from 1993 to 2005, approximately as much as twenty one billion pound sterling were spent for rather not specific purposes during international trips done by the UK residents. However, in 2007, the motive was shifted to visiting friends and relatives, and the amount of money spent on the visits reached its peak in 2008 with a total of twenty five billion pound sterling.
