The line chart illustrates the amount of people participated in five activities, film club, martial arts, amateur dramatics, table tennis and musical performances, at one social center in Melbourne, Australia in the 20-years period from 2000 to 2020.
Overall, film club has the highest number of participants while musical performances has the lowest amount. Additionally, table tennis experienced rapid increase while amateur dramatics significantly decreased after two decades. All of the activities started to experience changes in 2000 except for musical performances which began to increase in 2005.
Both film club and martial arts fluctuated a lot in the period of 20 years. Film club started with approximately 65 participants in 2000, which is also the highest amount compare to other activities. After fluctuating a bit in 2010 and 2015, it remained the top activity with almost 70 participants in 2020. Martial arts also went through a period of instability but in the end retained the same amounts of attendants as it started, more than 45 people in both 2000 and 2020.
Table tennis and musical performances rose significantly after 20 years, while amateur dramatic had a reduce in number. Starting 5 years late, musical performances modestly began with 0 participants in 2000 and then leapt to almost 20 participants by the end of 2020. Amateur dramatic and table tennis also started at around the amount of 20 attendants in 2005, but table tennis rapidly rose to more than 50 participants in 2020, while amateur dramatics fell to the point where the attendants were less than 10.
