The bar chart compares the number of hours spent daily by tourists from four different nationalities – Chinese, American, Turkish and Brazilian in leisure activities on holiday in Greece in August 2019.
Overall, all leisure activities were the most preferred among tourists. Reading books, in particular, accounted for the highest number of hours spent by Chinese people while the figures for visiting places and spending time at the beach were less popular among other nationalities.
Comparatively higher numbers were seen in reading books. While all tourists from different origins were engaged in reading books, Chinese people spent 8 hours, compared to 5 hours by American tourists. Turkish people, on the other hand, spent 4 hours, which was the same amount as Brazilian people.
Focusing on the other two activities, Chinese people spent an hour visiting destinations, whereas Americans dedicated more time, 3 hours. While Turkish people spent 3 hours, making it slightly more popular as opposed to 2 hours by Brazilian people. Regarding the hours spent at the beach, Chinese people dedicated 3 hours, while the time spent by Americans was 4 hours. Moreover, Turkish people allocated less time than Brazilian tourists, with the respective figures of 5 and 6 hours.
