The maps illustrate the comparison between the present layout and the layout in 1985 of Woodwards university.

Overall, there is a considerable changes in the present layout. the most obvious changes are in the buildings and the footpaths use to connect to each building.

In 1985, the library was located on the north west of the map that near to the buildings of physics block, biology block and chemistry block. There were two car parks, which located in front of chemistry block and on the south west. that admin building was located across of it on the right bottom of the map.

In the present, the library location is unchanged, but it is upgraded as a library and IT center, and the size is larger. There is a footpath to connect the library and science laboratories on the right top of the map. The suttle bus terminal is built on the south of the library replacing the car park in 1985. Admin building, on the other hand, is remained with the smaller size. Additionally, lecture theatre is built between Admin building and science laboratories as well as a long footpath is connected to the library.
