The maps illustrate a comparison between the present layout and the layout in 1985 of Woodwards University.
Overall, there are considerable changes in the present layout. The most obvious changes are in the buildings and the footpaths used to connect each building.
In 1985, the library was located in the northwest of the map, near the physics block, biology block, and chemistry block. There were two car parks, which were located in front of the chemistry block and in the southwest. The admin building was located across from it in the bottom right of the map.
At present, the library’s location is unchanged, but it has been upgraded to a library and IT center, and its size is larger. There is a footpath connecting the library and the science laboratories in the top right of the map. A shuttle bus terminal has been built to the south of the library, replacing the car park from 1985. The admin building, on the other hand, remains but with a smaller size. Additionally, a lecture theatre has been built between the admin building and the science laboratories, and a long footpath connects to the library.
