In 1980, Westfield Airport had just one terminal and shops and restaurants in the center. Below them, there was a covered walkway, and a car park below it. In the eastern area of the airport, there was a taxiway and runway. The control tower was located above the access road.

By the present, both a train station and covered walkway are remaining in the same place. While one more terminal has been added in the north part with a new terminal shuttle route. What is more, a new shops and restaurants have been added in terminal 2. The taxiway is replaced by a runway. In the south area a new covered walkway and a metro station have been added.
