The two maps illustrate the changes that have occurred at Westfield Airport between 1980 and the present day.

Overall, extensive changes has occurred over the years, with more infrastructure added, a car park expansion, as well as an additional travel method to arrive at the airport.

In the year 1980, the airport only consisted of a terminal with shops and restaurants, which was beside the control tower. Furthermore, only one taxiway and runway was available, while a medium-sized car park was provided with an access road connected. Additionally, a train station was available, with a covered walkway which lead into the terminal.

During the present day, a second terminal which also contained shops and restaurants was added along the taxiway, as well as an addition of a second runway. Besides that, a terminal shuttle route was constructed which linked terminal 1 to terminal 2. Moreover, a metro station was built which was connected to a covered walkway which lead to the covered walkway from the train station into terminal 1. Furthermore, the car park underwent an expansion, and the access road was lengthened to link to the second terminal.
