The two given maps compare Rampart street in the present time and its proposed changes in 2035.
Overall, the street is projected to witness a number of changes, the most significant of which will be the addition of entertainment facilities together with extra public amenities. Additionally, while the main street is planned to be changed into bike lanes, most of the facilities in the northeastern and southwestern sides will experience no changes.
Regarding the western part of the area, the food store, the embassy and the hotel will be kept it their positions while extra facilities such as pub, gift shop, restaurant and exhibition centre will be built along with benches and more plants. The main street which runs from north to southwest is proposed to be renovated into bike lines and walking path as traffic light will be removed. The apartment house located in the southwestern corner will remain intact whereas the construction site to the south is planned to be replaced by a florist’s.
In terms of the northern side, the old castle will be narrowed while a new pond will be built next to it. Finally, most of the residential buildings and facilities in the eastern side are predicted to observe no changes.
