Overall, working on environmental and sport organizations became popular among volunteers while the reverse was true for other organizations . It is also clear that, educational organization was by far the most chosen volunteering field which was overtaken by environmental then.
Focusing on upward trend first, 21% of volunteers participated in environmental tasks, making it the second dominant organization. By 2014 , this figure rose considerably by 8 percentage points, reaching 29%.The share of volunteers in Sport started at 15% , witnessing a significant grow, finished at 25% . Although health care experienced a slight growth in the percentage of volunteers from 7% to 8% , it remained the least ranked organization.
In contrast, remaining categories bucked the foregoing trend. Starting with 18% , the proportion of Art volunteers dropped negligibly to 18% . In 2008 , 24% of total volunteers came from environmental organization, which saw almost two fold decrease(17%) in 2014.
Their figure for “others” stood at 15% in 2008,after which it fell to 9% in 2014.
