Intro: the pictures illustrate the process involved in planting and manufacturing pineapple products.
Overall, there are eight to nine steps in two phases, from cultivating pineapples to producing varied products for consumers.
Regarding the first phase, pineapple are grown in the condition of 23-30 degree Celcius and the distance between every two pineapples is 26 cm to ensure each can be fully developed. When pineapples are seven months old, ethalene is pray onto crowns. Five months later, any pineapple that reach 2kg in weight and 30cm in height is harvested.
Then, they are graded by size for different further process. For small and medium-sized ones, their crowns are removed before being chopped into small species. While tiny pineapples are extracted to produce juice, medium-sized ones are sliced for making jam. As for biggest sized pineapples, they are placed into crates once wax has been sprayed on their crowns and skins. After being loaded onto ships, they are now ready to be exported to serve customers from different countries.
