In the period between 2001 and 2004, the number of women who ate 5 portions of fruits and vegetables rose significantly, from around 23% in 2001 to almost 30% in 2004, while the bars for men remained stable from 2001 to 2003, and increased slightly with around 2% in 2004. The kids bar was similar to the men’s, it contained at around 13% between 2001 and 2003, and it surged up to around 17% in 2004.
From 2005 to 2008, the women’s bar reached a peak in 2006 with 35%, and it fell with 5% at the end of 2008. The figure of men rose up to around 27% in 2006, and it decreased gently to over 25% in 2008. The number of children who ate 5 portions of fruits and vegetables climbed up to over 25%in 2007, and it also saw a decline in 2008, decreasing with almost 3%.
