The bar chart show the percentage of people who ate five portions of fruits and vegetables per day in the UK between 2001 and 2008. There is three groups: children, men and women.
Overall, womens always ate more fruits and vegetables than mens and children. All groups went up during the period.
In 2001, womens was highest with about 22%. Mens was around 18% and children was lowest, about 12%. In 2002, all groups increased a little. Womens reached 25%, mens 20% and children 15%.
From 2003 to 2006, womens continued to rise. It went up to 30% in 2004, then 32% in 2006. Mens also increased but slower. It reached 22% in 2004 and 24% in 2006. Children stayed almost same, around 15-16%.
In 2007 and 2008, womens went up to 35% and then 38%. Mens rised to 26% and 28%. Children also increased to 18% in 2007 and 20% in 2008.
