Overall, in this chart the most popular meat type is pork and beef, while sheep meat is least popular. Beef increased and dominated constantly 8 years, while poultry increased significantly only in 2020.
In 2010, Beef had the highest production, maintaining 25 million tons. Pork had 20 million tons, taking 2nd position. During next six years, Beef grew constantly and achieved 55 million tons, while porkchop increased slightly. In 2018, last one dramatically rose to 60 million tons, almost regaining 1st position. In 2020, Beef got 75 million tons production, however lost top 1 meat production to pork which got 80 million tons.
In 2010, poultry and sheep meat were producing absolutely same amount of tons. Next two years, poultry meat grew steadily, producing 10 million tons, while sheep had no changes. The following six years, poultry steadily increased, producing approximately 25 million tons. In 2020, poultry significantly gained popularity, achieving 50 million tons. While, other three grew significantly, sheep meat didn’t grow at all.
