The bar chart demonstrates changes in world production of beef, pork, poultry and sheep in the period from 2010 to 2020.
From the graph, it is clearly seen that beef production was experiencing a stable growth throughout the whole period, starting at 25 million tons and reaching 75 million tons in 2010 and 2020, respectively. Similarly, the production of pork had a gradual rise until 2016, before which it grew to 35 millions tons from 20 in the first year. Then, between 2018 and 2020 it dramatically rose, up to 80 million tons, showing the most rapid growth among all variables in the shortest time.
It can be observed that in the first 8 years poultry production experienced a steady growth, after which in remaining 2 years it exploded in numbers, recording 50 million tons. However, even though sheep production were equal to poultry in the beginning, it remained on the same level over the whole period.
Overall, it is clear that beef, pork and poultry were raising in demand the whole time, while the demand for sheep did not change.
