The chart illustrates the destinations of scholars advancing from Physics and from Arts and Design in one European country in a given year (2007).
Overall, the majority of the pupils after graduating with Arts and Design are likely to get employed immediately, while in the case of Physics, many students are rather also focusing on further study and training than just getting into jobs immediately.
A huge number of students after graduating seem to get enrolled into jobs of their genres immediately after passing from their university in both Physics (41%) and Arts and Design (75%). Moreover, almost double (11%) of Physics students are managing their work with further studies compared to others with just 6%. Similarly, compared to Arts and Design, where only 7% of the graduates focus on further training and study, 34% of Physics graduates are interested in more study.
Furthermore, the unemployment rate in both Physics and Arts and Design is quite comparable, with 9% and 11%, respectively. An average of 9% students in both cases are interested in other fields than mentioned.
