The given line graph illustrates the proportion of water in six specific places in the US in October of both 2009 and 2010.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that all cities were experienced an upward trend in water levels except Darwin and Melbourne. Additionally, Sydney and Canberra has always obtained the highest amount of water in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
As can be seen from the chart, Canberra had the initial proportion of water was nearly same as Sydney which was approximately 78%, and then the former witnessed a surge to about 98%, was much higher than the latter (82%). Additionally, despite having a low amount of water at first, Melbourne and Perth have climbed significantly twice in October 2010 compares to 2009.
However, the opposite was true for Darwin, which had a dramatic decline from over 45% to under 25% during a year and become the lowest water obtaining city over six given ones. Regarding Brisbane, there was not any noticeable change between 2009 and 2010 in this city.
