The diagram illustrates the process of cement- making and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purpose.
Overall, there are 6 main steps in this process beginning with the collection of limestone and slay and ending with the packaging of cement into bags. Meanwhile, concrete is produced in a single step by mixing four materials together.
In the first stage of the process, limestone and clay are collected from the mine; after that, they are crushed into powder. Following this, powder transported to mixer and heated at a high temperature in a furnace. Next, the resulting mixture is then shipped to grinder and products are packaged in bags.
In the next stage of the process, four materials are mixed together into concrete. Gravel make up the highest at about 50% of the mixture, followed by sand to roughly 25%, cement and and water to around 15% and 10% respectively. These material are added concrete mixer.
