The line graph illustrates the average time taken by four campanies namely General Motor, Ford, Toyota, and Honda, to manufacture new cars at thier US factories over a period of 8-year.
Overall, there was a slightly decrease in the average hours to produce cars in four factories. By contrast, Honda spent the least amount of time on their production.
General Motor had a singnificant decrease in during the priod, started at 32h in 1998. Then, it was certainly fell down at 28h in 2000. Until 2005, its average time peaked at only 22h. While the amount of time that was spent on producing cars in General Motor had the downward trend, Ford had fluctuately upward tendency in the time was used to manufacture vehicles. It started at 28h in 1998 and then it fluctuated and peak at 31h in 2005. There was a sharply drop trend by 10h in 2005, in comparison with it in 2000.
While Toyota and Honda started in the same point at 22h in 1998, the number of time of Toyota had an upward trend and peaked at 23h approximately in 2000. Besides, the average time of Honda had a sharply drop at 19 in 2000. And then both Toyota and Honda decreased at 20 in 2005.
