Overall, it is clear that the Australian exports to Japan and the US decreased considerably, while that for China and India saw a noticeable growth. Notably, the exports to Japan was generally the highest, whereas that for India showed the lowest figure.
Looking at the graph in more detail, Japan had the highest initial figure with around 25%. However, it experienced a gradual decrease during the whole period and became responsible for only 17%. Similarly, that for the US started off with 12%, yet it went to noticeably until 1995, then it reached a peak of 13% in 2000, after which it saw a significant decline until the end of the period.
As for the country with general upward trends, both China and India had relatively lower numbers (2% and 1%). However, the exports to both countries underwent a gradual increase, with China surpassing Japan in 2007 and ending the period with 27%. In terms of India, it peaked in 2010 and decreased slightly towards the end of the period
