Two pie charts compare the percentages of Uk visitors to Spain in 1983 and 2003, classified by five age groups.
Overall, it is evident that the 34-54 age group accounted the highest percentage of visitors, both pie charts. Furthermore, the proportions of people between the ages of 34 and 54, 25 and 34 underwent a slight decrease, while other groups increased in 2003.
In 1983, most Uk visitors was the oldest people, at 50%. In contrast, the percentage of teenagers who travelled from the UK to Spain was the lowest, at 4%. 10% was the proportion of children aged 15 and under. The percentages of 25-34 age group and the oldest people was 20% and 16%, respectively.
In 2003, the 34-54 age group experienced a moderate reduction from 50% to 35%, however, it was still the highest percentage visitors. Similarly, the figure of 25-34 age group declined from 20% to 12%. Conservely, other groups including children, younger people and 25-34 group grew the percentage, representing 12%, 15% and 26%.
