Overall, population in all ages experienced a slight increase in 2012. The most notable rise was seen in the group 65+ cohort, while the under 15 and 15-39 age groups modestly dropped.
Regarding all ages. 40-64 and 65+ group, there were 4.381.269 vindividuals in 2011. This figure significantly rose to 4.410.284 with the percentage of change was 0.6%. Sharing the same propotion of change with all ages, 40-64 age bracelet saw an increase, from 1.331.907 in 2001 to 1.339.898 in 2012. Those aged 65+ surged from 573.946 in 2011 to 596.903 in 2012 with 4.0% of percentage of change, making it become the most drmatic change among all ages.
Under 15 and 15-39 groups had the similar percantage of change, at -0.2%. In 2011, 1.557.256 individuals aged 15-39, closely followed by thosed aged 40-64, at 1.331.907. In 2012, both groups saw an downward trend, with 1.574.102 individuals of 15-39 and 1.339.898 people in 40-64 age group.
