First of all, 99% of people in all three different age groups watch TV or DVDs. In contrast, 98% of young people aged 16-19 and 25-29 like to visit and interact with their friends in their leisure time. However, the percentage of elderly people aged 60-69 who do this activity is slightly lower, 95%. Similarly, there is a larger proportion of young people in the first two age groups who tend to listen to music, 98% and 93% respectively while there is only 65% of elderly people aged 60-69 in this category.
In terms of reading books, there is a consistent increasing percentage of people, with 63%, 64%, and 66% in ascending order of age.The trend is also true for dressmaking, needlework, and knitting. Likewise, gardening accounts for 15%, 35%, and 61%, respectively. As for DIY, 25% of people in the first age group do this when they have free time, and those aged 25-29 who enjoy this activity exactly doubled. Compared to that, only 38% of old people in the third age group prefer to pursue this in their leisure time.
