Overall, while the number of hours talenn to produce a vehicle by 3 car factory, namely Nissan, daimle chrysler (DC) and general motors(gm) witnessed an downward trend, the figure for ford increase slightly over the period. Notably Ford remainded the highest level of product making it the fastest vehicle.
In 1998, Nissan recorded the highest amount of time to manufacture at appoximately 37 hours per vehicle. The both figure of Nissan and GM decrease significantly.The number of hours to produce by GM drop dramtically from 32 hours in 1998 to around 24 hours in 2002.
DC witnessed remain stable from 34 hours in 1998 to nearly 32 hours in 2000 . However , the figure decrease slightly from 32 hours in 2001 to around 29 hours in 2002.Meanwhile, Nissan increase slightly from around 25 hours in 1998 to nearly 28 hours in 2001. after the figure drop slightly to around 25 hours in 2002.
