Overall, the city experienced a moderate transformation over the given period with the addition of residential area and recreational activities. However, some of the main facilities have remained more or less unchanged.

In 1967, Felixstone had a relatively limited range of facilities. There was a golf course in the west of the town, just next to the shops. Additionally, there was a farmland in the east of the town. The other main facilities were located in the south. The bottom part of the city had a variety of facilities for people, like hotel, cafe, and fish market, which have a city just opposite to them.

Until 2001, the town witnessed various changes with the addition of new buildings. The golf course remained the same, however, one of the shops which was located beside it changed to apartments. The farmland saw particular changes with the construction of hotel, tennis court, and swimming pool. Other main developments had been recorded at the south side of the city, with the addition of car park next to a hotel and new wind turbines alongside the sea. Last but not least, the place for beach was divided into public and private.
