Overall, accountant had the highest over the four year period, while computer programmer remained at a subtle level throughout. There were fluctuations in most occupations, with some experiencing a minor surge in certain years.
Initially, in 2009 the number of accountants migrating stood at around 20,000, eventually peaking at nearly 28,000 in 2010 before declining gradually in the following the years. Next, software engineers also showed a notable increase, surging from approximately 19,000 in 2009 to over 21,000 in 2011, although numbers dropped slightly in 2012.
In contrast, cooks began with about 17,000 migrants in 2009, fell slightly around 15,000 in 2010, and the remained relatively stable. Computer programmers experienced a very subtle increase over the year, starting below 5,000 in 2012, then there were fluctuations between 2009 and 2011.
